Statement

Awaken is a short film that follows Yung’s descent into a strange dream. Through visuals alone, it explores how a change in tone creates universal feeling. Building on my earlier works (attached), this film experiments with color combinations in both 2D and 3D media. While warm tones in 3D sequences first establish a familiar space, the introduction of cooler blues and hints of neon reveal an eerie dream created through jagged 2D animation. By relying purely on visuals rather than sounds, Awaken uses color as a tool of communication.
